Legal and Regulatory Update

The Department of Labor issued its final regulation redefining who is a fiduciary under ERISA with respect to investment advice.  Thus the first change in the definition of fiduciary since ERISA was enacted.  The new regulations significantly expand the universe of individuals considered fiduciaries under ERISA and new prohibited transaction exemptions include new requirements for fiduciaries.  This webinar will discuss the new regulation and how it affects plan sponsors and plan fiduciaries.
