Directions for Women was created to Empower, Educate, and Engage women in the management of their personal finance. Their strategy to is two-fold: first, they encourage and motivate women to get the education and guidance necessary to become financially confident decision-makers. They implement this strategy through speaking, press coverage, publications, and facilitation of women circles and events. Second, they help financial advisors improve and broaden their outreach to women prospects and clients by providing presentational tools, research, insights, and processes to speak to and advise women, and by educating advisors about the unique circumstances and advisory needs of women.
The California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) is the nation’s largest state accounting organization and the largest CPA association in California. It serves 40,000 members in public practice, private industry, education and government. Through CalCPA Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CalCPA members provide financial literacy programs to high schools and community groups.
Established in 1985, IMCA is a nonprofit professional association and credentialing organization with more than 8,700 individual members.
